Job Description
Position requires a BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering. Helpful experience and knowledge: semiconductor processes and fabrication, VLSI design, ASIC design, MEMS, Cadence EDA tools, ICS and Labview, Skill, Perl scripting language or equivalent. The engineer should be familiar with wafer probing and test techniques, parametric analyzers and typical electrical laboratory equipment such as digital oscilloscopes and pattern generators.
The position will consist of working in two main areas:
1) Design and layout of heater chips and heater chip circuits for next generation products. The job requires a strong knowledge of electrical circuits and design. The candidate will be required to learn the processes and issues associated with unique IC fabrication processes.
2) Test and test setup for obtaining the electrical characteristics of various heater chip designs. The candidate must have the ability to design and debug test setups for obtaining data on heater chip circuits in wafer form and on printheads. Ability to define and implement systems/setups for prototype verification also necessary. The applicant will also be expected to define equipment necessary for laboratory test methodologies.
