ASIC Design Engineer

Southern California company is looking for an ASIC Design Engineer with an ACTIVE Secret Clearance to develop Cryptographic I.C.s - long term career opportunity.

What you will do:
- Design, develop and test Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) targeting cryptographic applications
- Create simulation and prototype verification test plans for manufacturing new products
- Participate in requirements definitions, design reviews; BOMS lists and vendor selection
- Work closely with our team of engineers, our clients and management on new product design and development

What you need:
- Current SECRET clearance required
- 5+ years of ASIC design and test reviews in a manufacturing environment
- VHDL or Verilog RTL detailed design, test vector generation experience
- Experience using FPGA design tools including timing analysis and test; debug skills
- 3+ years of Cryptography; and / or VHDL language, ARM7, ARM9 experience
- Other desired skills would include RISC processor, USB, network architecture, space radiation
- BSEE; BSCS and 5+ years of successful ASIC design, production and test experience
